Hi,
my baby is not latching breast. he is 15 days old.
I am using breast pump to express milk, but milk supply is not good. I can get only 40-50 ml in a day.
I am taking galact granules for increasing milk supply but it is not working. Please suggest how to increase milk supply, so that I can pump it and give it to my newborn baby as he is not latching.

Shatavari is good for milk production. Ayurvedic tablet is available. Worked wonders for me.
Also Add lots of Jeera in food. Jeera is also very good for lactation. u can mix its powder form in flour for making chapati as well.

1.    for increasing breast milk supply includ liquid more in diet.... like all kind of daal , milk.....green vegetables......have more water to avoid dehydration....
2.   breast feed your baby I'm every 2 hr....
3.   night breastfeeding is most important
4.    avoid stress

mam, I am using nipple puller and nipple shield for flat nipples. baby sucks through shield but due to lack milk formation he sucks for 5-10 mins and keeps crying and demand formula milk.
