Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor, my baby was born fair . but when she underwent phototherapy after 10 days of birth , she has become dark in color. it has been 3 months now but face color is little better but body is still dark. will she regain her birth color or this is permanent color of her. i use sebamed products for her and organic almond oil massage. let me know your thoughts

A. Okay I will tell you to things over your first of all the colour of the child does not change because of his phototherapy it is only a misconception that people have secondly the colour complexion is completely going to be based on the genetics of the child it is not necessary the child is born fair or bond dark complexion is going to stay the same it is going to change for initial 6 to 8 months then you can be certain about it and right now the products that you are using a very good so you can continue with them
