#asktheexperts Hello Doc, I have a 4 month old baby and I have gained a lot of weight during pregnancy around 20kg. Can I start doing all types of excercise and yoga, I had a normal delivery . I am having pain in my legs around the ankle mostly, kindly help.

A. at present you can start with daily walking regularly and after a month ahead you can start with mild body movements and mild exercises and then after 7 to 8 months you can move out for heavy workouts

A. Hi, Please start doing any exercises once baby completes 6 month in case of normal delivery dear. Till then focus on exclusive breastfeeding and your diet. Have your iron calcium supplements on time and have Dashmularishta post pregnancy for good strength.
