Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatvment acchordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Please take an advice from your paediatrician on that the doctor would be able to give you correct diagnosis of the issue and medication for the same because your child is too small you should not be giving any medicine to the child without consulting the doctor that’s not correct
