#AskTheExpert sir my baby complete 14 weeks for first 6&10 week vaccine was given her infanrix hexa but during her 14week it was given pentavac sd and opv. will it be problematic or not pls do needful

A. it can be del. Vaccination under 1 yr of age should be given if feasible and for more than 1 yr age can be delayed for 14 days or more . But if possible then no vaccine should be missed .

A. Vaccination needs to be given to child only when the present covid situation becomes favourable. Mandatory vaccdinations should be on the priority list followed by optional vaccine later on .

A. If for any reason you can't keep your baby's vaccination appointment, doctors say that a vaccine can be delayed by up to a month without putting a baby's health at risk. But you should only delay a vaccine after speaking to your paediatrician and not unless you really need to.
