#AskTheExpert My toddler is rubbing his eyes sometimes,is this a cause of dry eyes,can it happen in winter? anything you can suggest??

A. Babies are human, and humans rub their eyes in response to all kinds of environmental allergens and emotional cues. It's not unusual to see a baby rubbing their eyes, so don't panic. But it can mean they're in some kind of discomfort or distress.
