#AskTheExpert my son is 2 years old and 12.6 kg he had fever from yesterday fever is upto 101 I have given him calpol drops as per doctor's advice 1.8 ml 4 times in distances of 4 to 5 hrs he still he had fever and 6 hrs remain for compliting 24 hrs I have tried sponging and bathing but it is effective temporary plz tell what to do

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. just pcm for the baby .Fever is temperature more than 99. Give paracetamol for fever and can be given times in a day . If temperature does not comes down then sponging can be done or if baby not looking well then need to see a doctor .
