Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed.
Follow three day rule.
Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year.
Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

yes you can offer water .
but in few spoons of quantity.
and give boiled cooled water.
you can start with liquid diet like dal water ,rice water , different vegetables and fruits puree
