yes it is normal
it is called telogen effivlum
it is just result of hormonal changes that happen right after birth
don't worry, your baby gain hair again after 6 or 12 months age
just do oiling with pure coconut oil
use gentle shampoo like Babyhug shampoo for washing your child hair
