Q.

#AskTheExpert My son (17 months) is diagnosed with enlarged adenoids. The ENT specialist recommended a steroid nasal spray( Metatop) for three months. However on consulting another ENT specialist, he suggested another nasal spray for 7 days (xylometazoline). I'm in a dilemma whether to use the steroids or xylometazoline. Also, if there are any home remedies, please advise.

A. Avoid using steroid spray and continue with the second one and start doing pranayam and usually it needs to be treated and there are no home remedies for this but breathing exercises relieves symptomatic problem
