#AskTheExpert hi .. my son has enlarged adenoids.. one of the ent doctor advised to get them removed. what do u suggest

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. Surgery to remove the glands is often needed. Removing them has not been shown to affect a child's ability to fight infections. An adenoidectomy is mostly done for children who are between the ages of 1 and 7.
