#asktheexpert My milk is not being sufficient to the baby and she is not liking /drinking formula. How can i increase breast milk?

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl3 years agoA. Hi, since it is one month nothing to worry. Gradually breast milk will increase. Have a healthy diet and take adequate liquid and latch your baby which is the best method to improve your breast milk. And then you can give formula milk as a top feed. Make sure to hold the baby in 40° angle position and the Aerola is completely inside the babies mouth so it will be easy for baby to latch. If you are not getting you can consult a lactation and she will be the best person to assist you with the positions. Also you can take lactose granules with lukewarm milk please consult your gynaecologist before taking it.
