#asktheexpert my five months old did not get the HEP B vaccine which was supposed to be taken within the 24 hours after birth. Is it ok and safe to take it now?

A. yes it is safe can be taken. Vaccines are important for prevention from various diseases so it should not be delayed much . Some of delay up to 2 week is ok but vaccination chart should be followed and all vaccines are important that are in the chart .

A. Hello mom Mostly doctors advice to get that vaccination within 24 hours after birth. So in such case you should consult with your Paediatrician about it because your doctor can only advise you will after examining baby and according to babies medical history. All the vaccinations are important for baby and should be given on time
