#AskTheExpert my daughter is 2 month 25 days old.her birth weight is 3 kg and now she is 5.08 kg.is she gaining good weight ? i. exclusively breastfeeding and doubt of that is enough?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, a weight gain of 2 kg in 2 months 25 days is a normal weight gain, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months. For healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete.
