#asktheexpert my child is 22 months old he does not speak although he hear everything just speaks two words any suggestions

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. you should not worry as you can wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and fluently if its not so then consult doctor to know if speech therapy is required.till that time keep interacting as much as possible and involve the child in language enhancing activities using audiooorvisual aids too. dont worry if other milestones are normal this will also be achieved in time at times it may get delayed..there are variations in children by age for this. . .
