#asktheexpert my baby is 7th month old and he is drooling too much.. what is the reason or is there any medicine for this?? kindly suggest

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. baby 7 months old and is drooling too much so it is a sign that baby teeth eruption is happening soon teething makes baby cranky due to pain swelling and gum irritation. Can give a silicon or wooden teether or pacifier for ease irritation. clean and massage baby s gums by fingers. give vit d 3 vita must d 3 or KLM D 3 or D SOL 800 I U 0. 5 ml or 400 I U 1 ml daily till 1 year for strong bones and teeth

Chitradevi PMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, yes drooling is one of the sign of teething. Teeth eruption is a natural process. No need to do anything for that. Don't give any medication for that unless fever, or excessive crying. For giving any medication consult your child's doctor. Thank you have a nice day..
