#asktheexpert My baby is 1 month old n has a cough. Can i do a home remedy like make a vapor rub with coconut oil and camphor and apply it on baby?

A. Hello dear parent! Not at all advisable. Avoid self medication. Get your baby personally examined by the child’s doctor and seek further medical advice in this regard. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine for your baby and make your baby wear comfortable clothing as per the season. Good luck and take care.
