Q.

#asktheexpert my baby has turned 6 months old . Have changed to stage 2 formula . His poop consistency has changed , it’s thick . Previously it was different . Is it normal

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can givefuu bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicatiofns are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. hi yes ,it might be formula reaction but as far as your child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, taking Feeds and sleep well, showing no discomfort then no need to worry about it much.
