#AskTheExpert my baby do not smile very much... she oftentimes smile only when we play with her... but she did not smile when we look her... like other babies of her age do... she is now 5.5 months old..

See If somebody is looking at you do you just randomly smile or something no you don’t obviously that’s the same thing with a child a child precisely does not know what is smiling what is giggling they don’t even know the kind of expressions they are giving you it is just natural so when you play with your child your child feels good playful that is why this smile and giggle so it’s perfectly normal you have to have a reason to smile
