#asktheexpert my baby 13 months old used to babble Baba, papa, mama, dada.. but suddenly he has stopped doing it and babbling something but not looking at us and babbling... no back and forth babbling. is it normal?

A. at this time.. child is exploring maximum.. so he may ignore you just keep a check on baby.. let them do whatever they want so don't force them for anything

A. Some babies may start to babble less as they are learning more complex sounds. ... Babies babble because when they use their voice, they hear it and know it comes from them, so they keep talking to hear it. If they don't hear themselves do it, they may stop. It's just a thought.
