#asktheexpert My 6 year old, has th habbit of walking on toes. previously it was more.. now its reduce to 50% but still he walks on toes.. even wearing shoes.. running...

A. toe walking is many times seen in children after completion of 1 year of age. sometimes it is intermittent as well as sometimes it is continuous. usually this habit goes away with increasing age of the child usually by 2 years of age. it is advisabled that in between whenever you meet your pediatrician you can discuss this problem as well as take a video when the child is toe walking and share it with your pediatrician who will tell you if any intervention is required or not.
