#AskTheExpert My 3yr 4month child, passes very hard stool. And keeps itching his rectum, on examine his rectum I have seen there is a tear. What to do?

Cut at the potty area is due to the hard stool.
It tears the skin while coming out as then u can see blood in stool also.
Less intake of water and fiber food is the reason for constipation. Increase the intake of water and fiber food like Papaya pear plum prunes carrot dalia etc in ur baby's diet to get relief from constipation.
Give half tsp of honey with warm water two times a day to get relief from constipation.
Apply oil on the potty area for easy passing of stool
