#AskTheExpert my 11 months old boy always sucks fabrics that comes in his way either it is blanket or carpet...dupatta etc...m just worried about what if fibres of the fabric gets swallowed by him.pl advise

do not worry because it is possible that the fibres will be going inside the oral cavity but chances are very high that gradually it will pass out through the anal canal in the form of stool but yes it is important that the child should be prevented from eating them because sometimes in rare conditions complications and obstructions can occur due to fibre injection

Hi dear good afternoon Keep those things away from the baby. choose the toys like You can get colorful different shaped toys.. Play gym is very effective. Musical toys and speaking toys and moving toys also babies would love more.. Cloth books are alos good and attractive. you can even get bright colored books like alphabets shapers colors for them to view the bigger pictures and  colors. These will develop vision and motor skills.
