one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients eessential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you cafn give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

Give calcium rich food for strong bones and muscles of the baby.
Include egg, ghee, dry fruits, dairy products like paneer curd cheese, Banana shake, potatoes, rice, chicken etc in ur baby's diet for weight gain.
