#AskTheExpert Madam/Dear Sir My wife is 8 months pregnant and she is facing problem of high acidity. Her TSH level has come too high as of 116 at the initial time of pregnancy, now her doctor has prescribed her thyroxine 100 mg daily and 150 mg weekly to control that Please guide us how to avoid acidity in this situation and also about her thyroid problem as it will affect our baby or not and also after pregnancy her tsh level will be back to normal or not

A. Which so much elevated TSH levels it is unlikely that they will come to normal after pregnancy because it is definitely not due to pregnancy. There is a chance that the baby might also be affected and you have to get the baby checked out after birth and do inform the doctor about all this so that they will schedule when to get the test for the babyWrite Your Answer Here

A. dont miss medicine. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you
