A. Hi See a lot of things completely depend on the degree of the issue how severe it is how mild it is it’s better that you go ahead with proper course of medication things can be of course better with time but it’s very very important for you that you continue with medicines your child can have of course a normal life with it but if it is completely curable or not the doctor would be advising you correctly for that

A. I am a mother of 3 year old daughter with VP shunt. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 4 months . Shunt is device which helps to release the fluid pressure build up inside the Brain. as per my knowledge it should help the child and lead a normal life provided right medical interventions.
