ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. not good to give gripe water. No other foods or fluids including water are not necessary till 6 months. Exclusive breast feed your baby two hourly and on demand .burp well after each feeding.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi dear Gripe water is not recommended for babies younger than 1 month. The digestive tract is sensitive and still developing at this age. Most pediatricians will advise parents to try other methods of soothing a colicky baby before giving them gripe water.
