#asktheexpert is it necessary to take polio vaccine in government vaccination drives if baby has been already vaccinated per regular vaccination schedule till 18 months

A. pulse polio immunization is extra dosage irrespective of the vaccination schedule as well as the vaccination that is been given to the child. it is advisable that you getx the child vaccinated for polio if the child is not having any type of fever at present. simple cough and cold is not a contraindication for polio drops. it is usually available at any government centre that is primary and centre or urban health centre
