#asktheexpert Is back acne normal in pregnancy? My wife is facing this backacne and facial pimple in her 6 month pregnancy.

A. It is very normal for women who are pregnant to have dark discoloration of the skin or get lots of acne. It is highly advisable that she doesn’t use any random medication because during pregnancy you have to be extra careful. You need to cancel the dermatologist to see if it is pregnancy and used or some sort of infection that is causing this lesion
