#asktheexpert Influenza vaccine is compulsory? it's not recommended by government also.. so confused

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child.
the first dosage is givexn at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 7 years of age.
previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.
flu vaccine can be started at any age.
best time for flu vaccine is usually just before rainy season on set

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. No it is not a mandatory vaccination it’s an optional vaccination but we do suggest you to get it done because it is going to protect your child from the virus of influenza and flu flu so it’s good if you get them done once in a year
