#asktheexpert if i am saffering with chicken pox can i give breast feed to my lil one?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes tou can just wear a mask .Mother feeding should be exclusively till 6 month of ageif possible. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

Nope If you are suffering your child is also going to suffer if you get your child close to you because chickenpox is contagious to a person who has never had chickenpox so if your child has obviously never had chickenpox it’s just three months old so you cannot go close to your child till the time your chicken box does not subside completely
