#AskTheExpert I had c section on July 14, 2020.. still dint get periods.. how long should I wait or should I consult a gynaec?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. You can wait even up to one year after giving birth for the periods to come spontaneously and even then they haven’t come then consult your gynecologist and meanwhile keep using contraceptionWrite Your Answer Here

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom. There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers tend to get periods late and as late as one year. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. So no need to worry. Take care
