#asktheexpert I got my periods just after 4.5 weeks of my delivery . Is it normal or I need to consult my gynecologist?

A. Yes, it is absolutely normal if you got your period immediately after giving birth, or within a month. The next few cycles may or may not be regular, so keep using contraception
