#AskTheExpert I am 8 week pregnant and me and husband are having thalassemia trait. we are thinking for amniocentesis to detect either fetus have thalassemia major or not. Is this process safe for growing fetus?

A. hi mom yes if it is done at a good Centre by experience person then it is safe u should go for it for safety of the baby .. take care
