#asktheexpert I am 38 weeks pregnant and my fetal has one loop of umbilical cord around the neck, do you suggest that I should go for the c- section now? Will it be healthy?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist11 months agoA. Almost 40% of all pregnancies will have at least a single cord of loop around the neck and you can get a Doppler scan done to see if it is loosely hanging or tight. If it is loose then you can try for a vaginal delivery
