#AskTheExpert how to increase breast milk supply. and can i give cow milk to my 6 month 13 days child.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. you can not give animal milk till one year age.you can eat a high protein n fibre diet.Try to cut on stress and un due tension. Eat more of fruits and vegetables and lots of fluids too daily

No you should not start giving cows milk at all. You can start giving outside milk only once your baby turns one year old. Till the time if mother’s milk is not sufficient then you can start giving formula milk. Formula milk is the best alternative of mother’s milk. And you should also start giving solids and water to your six months old baby
