Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. On an average babies under 1 year can take 60 to 100ml of water per day if they take adequate breastmilk or formula. For a six-month-old, few spoons of boiled and cooled water will be sufficient after each solid feed. Too much water can also suppress the hunger. Watch the baby's nappies to see if he is well-hydrated.
