#asktheexpert Hii doctor..My baby is 10 days old. Uski right side vali eye mei dheed aa ri hai kafi..Is it due to drainage nerve blockage??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr old boy3 years agoA. this occurs due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is very common in children at this age it occurs due to obstruction of pathway (nasolacrimal duct) from eyes to the nose for which eyes massage is needed regularly and this problem goes away with increasing age of the child meet your doctor for moref information and also go through various videos which will also tell you how to massage the eyes to decrease the obstruction. if the obcstruction is not taken care ogf the proper massage it can lead to infection in the eyes and more watery eyes as well as red eyes and secretions from the eyes
