Baby could be having chest congestion or any infection. Consult doctor and get treated for infection. Hope you are deworming baby every 6 months.

after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.
do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. 
if vomiting occurs xagain then meet your doctor.
avoid giving milk and heavy diet.
vomit usually occurs due to gastritis
