#AskTheExpert Hi Mam, I am pooja Nair and I am 27 years old. From my recent thyroid reports show an elevation in the Tsh levels(8.932) and normal ranges for t3 and t4 levels( reports attached). I have pcos too.. If planning for a baby from when should I start the medication Also, may I know if the Thyroid levels needs to be in the normal range before planning for a baby

A. yes it is very important for you to have proper normal thyroid levels okfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
