#AskTheExpert Hi I have got my Urine culture report attached with Proteus Mirabilis, my obgyn has suggested to take Inj Amikacin 750 mg for 5 days Please advice if it is safe as it shows harmful during pregnancy. Is there any other medication for this? I am 29 weeks pregnant

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. need antibiotics. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you
