#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, my baby is 8 months old now. She is having constipation problems and on top of it she is not drinking enough water. What should I do now?

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruitsd avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineadpple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

A. So go ahead with giving more of buttermilk and coconut water to the child you can also go ahead with giving prune juice in the night to the child before sleeping start the day with a little bit of warm water and go ahead with giving for fire that is going to help your
