#asktheexpert Hi doctor, is it true that the type of food mother eats, reflects in mothers milk. Example elders are saying if I eat coconut in diet, kid will get cold!! So I am worried now what to eat and what not. Pls suggest. … regards, Mom of a 1 month old boy

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes whatever mother eats that impacts on baby health being a breastfeeding mother. Please have more green leaves vegetables fruits and dairy products in diet…… Take care
