#AskTheExpert hello sir my son is 3 years 4 months old... he is suffering from cold cough n fever from yesterday.. from last 3 months this happens alternate week... doctor suggest it's just a viral n gives cold cough relief syrups n antibiotics... please guide me so that cough from his chest will get removed completely

For cough and cold steam can be given as a home remedy for now and also you can start giving some cough syrup like asthakind LS but if the problem is more and there is some breathing difficult then consult a nearby doctor for this .

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello this may require further medical investigation if the child is frequently falling sick so it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
