hello. my daughter is almost 14 months old. she seems to be dropping her morning nap . she used to sleep from 9/9.30am to 11am and then 2/2.30pm to 3.30/4pm
in the last two weeks, she has slept at 11am and woken up at 1.30pm ( This has happened on 3 different days) followed by her night nap at 7.30/8pm.
How do I delay her 11am nap and push it to 12/12.30pm so that she sleeps till 2/2.30pm and the gap between this single nap and her night nap is not too big?
p.s: she refuses to advance her night nap.
Thank you

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. at this age if there is disturbance and sleep it might be due to some type of physical disturbance or due to environmental disturbance. you have to rule out teething pain which might be causing discomfort. see for any gastric problem like gas or digestion problem (constipation/ diarrhoea) due to the food the child might be consuming which might be causing discomfort. you can give feed to the child because sometimes due to hunger the child might not be able to sleep environmental disturbance like temperature variations which mightx be either hot or cold weather. change in pillow or mattress. changing place of sleeping can also disturb the sleep
