#AskTheExpert Hello Mam, I had taken i-pill after having unprotected conception. yesterday I started bleeding after arround 12 days of i-pill. my periods are due on 19 of this month. Plz help me to know is it normal? What should I do?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 4 years agoA. taking I pill may cause bleeding intermittently so no need to worry it will reduce itself just take care that you should not use it regularly and use a proper contraceptive method
you can use either a contraceptive injection which needs to be repeated every three months or get copper t inserted

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Avoid ipill. It can cause severe other issues later. I feel Tis normal for now. Wait until your next period to decide. I will suggest you to see your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
