#AskTheExpert hello Dr can we take cetrizine tablet during breastfeeding?? I am suffering from skin allergy after my delivery. my baby is 10 days old.

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 8 yr 10 m old girl3 years agoA. hi there is no harm in taking Cetirizine , the baby can feel a bit drowsy. Instead take tab loratidine which is safer and not sedative. Symptomatic treatment with steam inhalation can be done

You And take it because it is just an anti allergy but in the longer course I’m going to advise you to go ahead with the consultation with the dermatologist ones that would be really important because these things are mostly due to hormonal changes otherwise you can go ahead with the homoeopathic treatment also
