#asktheexpert Hello doctor. I would like to know about the menstrual cycle irregularities after the baby. Before the baby i got my periods in regular patterns and after the baby When my baby was month i got my periods but its been more than 40 days since then. I do breastfeed and give cow milk to baby. Is it normal?

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 5 m old girl1 Year agoA. hi ji , its ok to get irregularities dont worry ..its normal. but as your baby is 6 months old ,please continue with breastfeeding only avoid giving external milk upto 1 year age.
