#AskTheExpert hello doctor I am 8.5 months pregnant. is it safe to get covid 19 vaccinated at this time. or should I wait till delivery? please clear all possible points related to pregnancy and breastfeeding for vaccination

A. no it is not safe for pregnant women to take vaccination but yes lactating mothers can take vaccination but government of India does not consider both of them for vaccination at present

A. no they were definitely not because the vaccination available in the India is not suitable for the women who are already pregnant and as far as breastfeeding mothers are concerned there are still multiple suggestions are coming so it's better to confirm with your personal gynecologist only or wait
