yes you can start brushing your kid's teeth as soon as the first tooth erupts.
you can use any kids toothpaste brand like colgate kids or natural, oral B junior in rice grain sizs amount.

Also check for reviews that you wish to purchase. It may help to get the best. Try Colgate child's tooth paste which comes in different flavors
